Have a decent bet on the Griz +4.5. Trying to grab a good middle and took the Clippers -4 2nd half. Would love a LA win by 2.

WTF are these late game collapses? ![]() Took Spurs -2.5 for tomorrow. Harden is the second most valuable player in OKC last year and losing his production is big. He was the one who presented nightmares to the Spurs last year. The Thunder, integrating hew pieces to their roster, are in a difficult spot tomorrow. They have a negative turnover differential on the road last year and these unfamiliar new faces might compound that problem. The Spurs are just too good at home to have another lackluster game. So FYI, there are 4 times a year during an NBA season where results are even more unpredictable than usual: The very beginning of the season, going into and coming out of the all-star break, and the end of the regular season. Be aware

Wow money surely hates me I anticipated the line to move to -3 or worse so I decided to lock it in at -2.5. Slowly sapping away my energy to bet on the NBA YTD: 1-5 (-10.2 units) Took the following for tomorrow. If you're thinking of taking one of these teams tomorrow, I advise you to just stay away. Cavs +2.5 - Needless to say, Rose is the most important player in Chicago. His absence is worth around 9 points if we look at the SIMPLE ratings last year (82games.com). You know who's the second most important player in Cleveland? It's Varejao. Cleveland was playing well last season until he suffered a season ending injury. Now that he's back and Kyrie Irving ready to take the next leap, the Cavs will probably surprise some people this season. Hornets +3.5 - Utah is the most bipolar team in the league together with Portland. They're beasts at home but when they go on the road, they usually stink. Having beaten the Mavs in blowout fashion (who have defeated the Lakers the day before), we get this inflated line. Hornets win straight up. Knicks +5.5 - No Amare, no problem. The Knicks are 14-5 without him last season. He also has a negative SIMPLE rating meaning the Knicks are slightly worse with him on the court. He's a high usage player that if paired with another high usage player like Carmelo, the results would not be optimal. Miami is always gonna be overvalued anyway so add another overadjustment for the Amare injury and we get an inflated line. 2.2 units to win 2 units each Demented Guy fucked around with this message at Nov 2, 2012 around 13:35 |

Nuggets -6 over Magic seems like a good bet. The Magic are horrible. I parlayed Rockets +6, Bucks +7, and Nuggets -6

I got a big bet on Knicks +6.5 because that line just kept growing and looking more enticing all week. Smaller bet on the Lakers +1.5 as well.

So I'm on a cold streak. Down like 4 units on the NBA so far. With that said I'm on the Hornets +3.5. Take the Jazz and get paid. I was on the Nuggets -3 first half and they are down 20. That's how bad it is.

Hahahaha this is just too funny I took the Cavs and they are down 20 just minutes into the second quarter.

Took Raptors +6 tomorrow for 2 units. The Nets are probably the most bizarre team in the NBA last season. Teams usually play better at home than on the road but the Nets are the exact opposite: they are better on the road than at home last year. Maybe because nobody watches them at New Jersey and the usual energy home teams get playing at their arena just isn't there. Now that they're in Brooklyn maybe that would change but I'm not betting on that happening tomorrow. It's the debut of their new shiny arena tomorrow. All the pressure is on them to perform well. I think because of this and the fact that people just expect them to roll over this Raptors team, we get a slightly inflated line. But this Raptors team talent-wise could be on par with this Nets team. Deron Williams is clearly the best player in this game but Lowry and Bargnani are no slouch. Valenciunas is coming along nicely and they have the steady Jose Calderon to back up Lowry. Joe Johnson is good but his reputation as a star is a little bit overrated IMO. I won't be surprised if Toronto steals this one to spoil the Nets' home debut. Other leans: Cavs +6.5 Wizards +6

I won't be surprised if Toronto steals this one to spoil the Nets' home debut. Adding: Wizards +5.5 (2u) - Betting on the Wizards is always a tough proposition to take but this is just too difficult to pass up. People would assume that this is the "get right" game for Boston after losing their first 2 games. But the Celtics were horrible on the road last year. They have negative differentials in turnovers, rebounding and FTA/FGA. This is a brand new team with different pieces added during the offseason. Being unfamiliar with each other further compounds their road woes. They are probably the best defensive team last year but these new pieces need to gel more to get back to that elite level defensively. I expect this young Wizards team to run all game and exploit this Celtics team coming off a game last night. Overadjustment for Wall's and Nene's injuries further inflates this line in Washington's favor. YTD: 3-6 (-8.4 units)
