In college betting. Homer bet on North Texas +10 @ Creighton. 2 of UNTs best players (but not best) didn't make grades and did not play in the spring. I expected this line to be around +6 but that's what happens when Creighton is #16.

I'll bite on NT as well. I'm in Dallas, so I like a good opportunity to bet on them. Also on MIA tonight. Wanted IND at +2 but they've fallen back to +1.5 and I'm second guessing myself now. edit: I've also got some UFC picks for tomorrow. - Rich Franklin really, really ought to win tomorrow. Cung Le is on the lower end of the downside of his career - they're really trying to squeeze one more main event out of him, since this is the UFC's first foray into China. Additionally, all signs point to Franklin retiring when the 2 fights on his contract are finished, so I imagine he's really wanting to win so that he can get one final big fight. It's a 5 rounder, and I don't think either quite have the gas for that at this point in their careers. Franklin by stoppage is -195, by TKO/KO is -150. If you're feeling ballsy, Franklin in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are +305, +500, and +525. - I really wish I would have moved on Gomi earlier. I saw him at +235 about a week or so ago, but his odds have fallen quite a bit (as a matter of fact, right now Gomi outright is +190, and his odds to win inside distance are +180  ). Right now, I wouldn't touch anything, but if odds creep back up to ~+220 for a Gomi win or ~+250 for a Gomi win by stoppage, it's probably worth a play. Danzig should be able to wrestle his way to a victory, but he is also stupid and may just let Gomi punch his head off.- Possibly leaning towards Paulo Thiago by stoppage. Just like the Gomi fight, his opponent should be able to keep him pinned down for a majority of the fight and win a decision, but Thiago definitely has a shot to pull out a stoppage victory. Right now, it's +350 for a Thiago stoppage. - I also wanted to bet against a lot of the Asian fighters on the card, since they're mainly there to draw a local crowd and not because they're real contenders, but good god, the UFC found some cans to line them up against. While researching these guys, I actually think I might have talked my way into betting for Tiequan Zhang, a very not good fighter, because his opponent, Jon Tuck, is getting -300 in his debut UFC fight (if you don't consider losing in the opening round of The Ultimate Fighter).
