I am a so bad.

Anyone that does not plan on reselling, need a NES for cheap? I'll be picking up the lot on Saturday. By cheap I'm talking shipping and whatever you are willing to pay :) Be nice if I could defray a touch of my cost, as my wife is going to yell at me for this.

I don't need either of the ones pictured. Not sure if they will come with cables either. Will get more details on Saturday when I pick up the lot. I will test them as well.

If one of those toasters works I'd take one. I am unable to get my original to work.

Sounds good! You got dibs on the first one that works. Will report back with more details when the lot is in my nerdy little hands!

*edit*

I only see one zelda, and that looks to be II. Is that one game with the book hiding the cover possibly zelda 1? If so I will be loving happy cause I been trying to nab that bitch forever.

Out running on the bike path yesterday I found a copy of Troy Aikman's Football for the Genesis. Someone had apparently put it in a fire, and then left it in the woods to rot. Such a sad life for an old sports game. :(

Yet my local goodwill still wants 4.99 for this gem.

I know this is the wrong post to put this in, but since I don't know the people on the Halo thread thought I'd give anyone first shot.

My boss drinks mountain dew like crazy and I have about 100 dewxp caps. If anyone wants a code let me know.

Goodwill had an indigo gamecube with controller/power/av/memory card for 12$ Any gamecube mods worth doing?

Add me to the boat with a game boy player w/o a disc. Goodwill had a bunch of genesis games and a bare gamecube with a game boy player attached. For 19$ I thought it was worth it?

I really want one someday, but gently caress me, that's a lot of cash. I wish I had it to burn, but I am hilariously broke right now. Not that I could normally afford $400 on something to make my videogames prettier, but my car ate itself this week, so yay new car shopping two months ahead of when I planned to when I'd have my bonus to, you know, actually pay for it. :smithicide:

In light of this, enjoy your crudely extracted kidney, secret santa partner who may or may not be reading this. I'll draw a Nintendo logo on it and call it promotional material for Dr. Mario or something.

Even when your broke your still stopping by Goodwill and grabbing all the non sports genesis games they got in. Guess this is what an addict goes through.

I'm looking at getting a 32X for my Model 1 Genesis/Model 2 Sega CD setup. First of all, does the 32X even work with the Model 1 Genesis? What all cables and adapters are necessary to connect it properly? A complete 32x seems to be pretty pricey, so I'd like to just get one with only the pieces necessary to hook it up. I'd probably end up getting that three way AC adapter thingy too, to save some power strip space.

Also, is there anything to the rumors about the 32X damaging genesis games? I remember some talk of that when I originally had one as a kid but wasn't sure if there was anything to it.

In all my travels I've never seen any 32x games. How common are they? Also, during a weak moment on wholesale lots I've acquired more Genesis model 1's bringing my total to 5. What is a good start for modding a Genesis?

I finished my secret santa art project and the whole thing will go out tomorrow. Who would have thought it would take that much urine to fill a jar with a Mario figurine in it?

In hopes you had asparagus the night before. Ahh smell of the holidays.

...The power adapter. Ah. You know, the original power adapter on mine is long gone. The wire frayed until it wasn't usable anymore. Where it is now, no one knows. So I got a 3rd party adapter afterwards that can be used on multiple consoles.

That might be my problem right there.

US Robotic modem power adapters are a quick fix for the NES. They are a lot better than 3rd party ones too.
