I'm in the southern US. Can get anything standard American and a few southern specialties (sweet tea, beef jerky, fudge?) Heard someone say pork rinds? We've got cracklings too (crunchy pork rinds), fried peanuts, umm what else? Energy shots/drinks? That may be standard. My father had me bring him Tums and Mexican corn/tortilla mix a few times. Also his girlfriend thought Orajel was the most amazing thing ever and stole my tube.

I'm looking for any sort of unusual chip/crisps. In Czech they had these amazing Hen/turkey-flavored chips. But it need not be specific to Europe. Also any sort of carbonated juices. Think San Pellegrino. The Czech beer Staropramen if there is even a way to legally ship it.
Also svickova mix in a bag? Does this even exist? Alternatively you can just ship a full Christmas dinner.

I'm in Tampa, FL, and the only regional things I can think of are all produce which are out of season, and Key Lime Pie, which would just get destroyed in shipping, on top of needing refrigeration. Can this thread work as a "I will pay you to ship me weird exotic foodstuffs" or is it exchange only

I can find the normal American stuff, if anyone wants that.

edit: I won't promise it, but I just realized I might be able to get a hold of some gator meat. Gator jerky is pretty interesting.

Think some signals got crossed there, I wasn't asking if I could outright pay you per se, rather if we could buy things in general. That Swedish soda sounds delish, and I want to get a hold of some, but like I said I don't really have anything "special" to offer.

Since they're a fundraising-y thing, I will gladly pay directly for them (plus shipping, of course). If you've got a kid who sells them, PM me!

Additionally, if there's anyone in eastern Canada who can get me some of these pretzels (the ones you get from Air Canada) I would be very grateful.

As a Canadian I can get you such delicacies as:

Coffee Crisp

Avro Aero

and WEIRD-rear end CHIP FLAVOURS including ketchup, all-dressed, and dill pickle:

I don't know, since I am not a potato-chip-eating guy, but the girlfriend says "kind of sweet, kind of sour"? The idea is that they are all the flavours slammed up in one batch - BBQ + salt/vinegar + ketchup + sour cream/onion together.

It has a strong acidic taste akin to salt and vinegar flavor, but other than that kind of tastes like a bit from every flavor, yeah.

I'm living in Canada as well and can provide a good bit of common Canadian things such as the ones already listed such as Lays/Ruffles/Kettle crazy-flavor chips, Nestle brand bars, Jones soda, Vachon cakes (Joe Louis, etc). Unfortunately I don't have access to Pineapple Crush soda like I did in Newfoundland. I'll have to do a better write-up on what I can get at a time where i'm not immediately headed to work.

What i'm looking for is just an assorted goodie bag of confectionary or baked goods; no crazy fish in a can or anything I probably won't enjoy just for its oddness. Bonus points if its from Japan/Asia, since it'll deter me from taking the words on the package to Google. I'll also specifically request Julmust and Mexican Coca-Cola, depending on how much of a hit i'd take on international shipping on liquids.

AMAZING FLAVOURS AHOY!
The Best/Most Popular Flavours
  • Redpop: I have no idea how to explain what flavour this is like other than Redpop. It's amazing.
  • Rock & Rye: More amazing soda that can only be described as tasting like itself.
  • Moon Mist: a soda similiar to Mountain Dew except older and better tasting/is only $0.99
I can probably find any flavour you wish to try, and I'm willing to ship internationally. I can't say that I desire any foreign foodstuffs due to me having so many amazing things around me, however Julmust would be awesome to obtain and SOMEONE PLEASE SEND ME A CRAPLOAD OF DRANK I MISS IT SO. I'll trade you some Cocaine Energy drinks for them! (CAUTION: THESE BURN YOUR THROAT AT FIRST, DON'T GUZZLE IT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD)

Also Mexican Coca-Cola flows like water here, since they also apparently export it to the Middle East. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!
Here in Detroit, we have the largest population of Arabic people outside the Middle East, and as such, there is basically a Middle Eastern grocer on every corner, and usually next door to them are Indian food stores and Korean/Thai food stores are close as well. Or pour it over some cream cheese, throw some cheddar on top and dip tortilla chips in that bad boy.

Cream cheese???

The only way I can get Skyline here is if I make it or buy the teeny expensive frozen package at Kroger. I took my husband to Cincy last winter for my dad's birthday and he was thrilled about two things: first time north of the mason dixon and skyline chili. I've been wanting to go up there and get some goetta and cottage ham since you can't seem to find either down here in TN. I've tried to get the manager of Kroger here to order me some cottage ham. Scampi Fries

Do not eat these in the car if you don't want it to smell of fish for the forseeable future. However they are fuckin' delicious, a strong lemony fishy taste. They seem to contain the same synthetic crack derivative that they put in pringles to prevent post-pop stoppage.

Worcester Sauce Crisps

Tangy sweet and mildly spicy. Some of the best crisps around.

Chocolate Malted Milk biscuits

In my opinion the best biscuit. Sweeter and with a more satisfying texture than your bog standard digestive. It also has hobnobesque resilience when dunked in your choice of hot or cold drink.

Cherry Bakewells

Exceedingly good, jam, pastry, fondant icing, and a cherry on top.

These are just some of my favourites but I can also acquire...

-Bird's custard
-Various tooth rotting drinks such as tizer or Irn Bru or indeed tango
-Bisto, for making gravy that isn't the weird stuff that Americans have
-Monster Munch
-Many more things.

Skyline Recipe

1 lb. hamburger
1 dsh worcestershire sauce
1/2 qt. water
1 med. diced onion
1/2 sm. can tomato paste
2 T. chili powder
1/2 T. salt
3/4 T. vinegar
1/2 T. black pepper
1/2 T. red pepper
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. allspice
1/2 t. ground cumin seed
1 bay leaf
garlic salt

Put all in pot, sprinkle garlic salt over top, just sprinkle over all like you're salting your food, bring to boil, simmer 3-4 hrs.

If you're going to double this recipe I would not double the cinnamon or allspice...it makes it to cinnamony. I usually double it because its a pain in the rear end to just use half a can of tomato paste unless you use it alot.
