Ahhh. I've signed up for this several times but it always fell through. I'm in the bay area. This is what I've got:![]() Ghiradelli Chocolate. San Francisco is known for it, and it's pretty good. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, milk chocolate with sea salt, dark chocolate with raspberry, etc. ![]() ![]() The above is Mochi, Weird marble soda, and wasabi peas, which are amazing. I live near Ranch 99, which is humongous Asian supermarket. There's mochi, seaweed snacks, panda cookies with chocolate inside, pocky, etc. It has everything. EVERYTHING. The weird soda with the marble inside (I've tried it before--I don't get it) I also live next to a couple Russian, Indian, and Persian stores. So if you're very specific, I can probably find ethnic spices/jams/foods that are hard to find. What I want: Canadian goons. I miss maple syrup candies like this, not the wafer and maple syrup crap in between, THIS: ![]() Mr. Big, Oh Henry!, Coffee Crisp, Ketchup chips, and all dressed chips. If I could get a Montreal bagel, I would love you forever. I would consider other offers, though. Maximusi fucked around with this message at Nov 12, 2012 around 02:01 |

Before I get my hopes up, is it possible to ship cheese from UK to USA without breaking the bank? A couple years ago, a local store had Tipsy Brit English Cheddar with port wine - fell in love with it, but have had no luck getting my hands on it. Aside from that, I'm interested in Suppanda (sp?) Sour candy, real wasabi (the only stuff we can get here is literally horseradish with green food coloring sold as wasabi), and Frisk mints from Japan. I live in a US city, so all of the usual foodstuffs from the states are available

I mainly came to lurk at what other countries have since I don't have quite enough disposable income for this, but I want to post a warning too. A few years ago, I bought Julmust in a local "European" store(in Kansas) and it was loving delicious and hoppy, to the point where my girlfriend at the time thought I had been drinking beer. Here's the warning though: I was at Ikea the other day and they sell Julmust. Their Julmust suuuuuucks. It's like RC Cola with a tiny hint of hops. So if you are in an Ikea, don't let the poor imitation get your hops up

Unless it's some sort of weird, outlandish flavour, Betty Crocker frosting is available from a lot of the highstreet supermarkets these days, ie Tesco, for around £2 a tub. Peanut Butter cups too (had a pack for breakfast this morning). Also, while not quite as reasonable pricewise, TK Maxx often has a random assortment of foriegn foodstuffs.

I would be grateful to anyone who could send me BIG SHOT ROOT BEER from the New Orleans area, or any kind of maple-flavored root beers. (I know such things exist!) I hope this doesn't go against the spirit of the thread, since I'm also in the U.S., in Orlando, Florida. However, I can get my hands on almost ANYTHING, since I live and/or work near large, well-stocked Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, and Indian grocery stores. Plus I can easily connect with a smattering of British, German, and Jamaican products from my regular supermarket. I don't have PMs, but my e-mail is saxman2 AT hotmail. I'm in Washington DC, the only thing we have that can be shipped (we get great live seafood) is half-smokes. They are very good. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Half-smoke It's kinda like a hotdog, but much better. It must be 50/50 pork and beef, it's ground meat not sludge, and spicey. It's unique to DC and are official food...
