I collected and was deeply involved in table top gaming- warhammer 40k, until i was at least 19-20, fitting in with the unwashed crowd of 12 year olds during games nights at the local store. While hiking at school, i proceeded to say "this is just like ghost recon!" in front of my peers- who laughed their asses off, and continued to bring i up throughout the school year.... Also I've cancelled nights out with mates, just to play WoW, EVE online, halo etc solo. Nerd life FTW

In High school, long story short, me and a bunch of class mates were hiking through some scrub/long grass, when I suddenly blurted out "This is just like GHOST RECON". Well, the whole group proceeded to mock the hell out of me the entire day. I pretended laughed it off and take it all in my stride, but in reality I was dying inside.
