I too have bought those tires on my last two cars (and didn't need to quote a huge wall of text/pics to tell you :v:). They're hard to beat for the price you pay.

Yeah, but it has weight over the front wheels. Most RWDs are really light in the rear so good luck getting more traction that way. More fun though, can't argue that... Until you go rear end first off the side of the road. :)

You live in Canada... Your oil is never going to get warmed up enough without coolant warming it up. I say this knowing little about Subies or that setup (regardless, still a ME that works on powertrains for a major OEM :) ) but it just sounds like a bad idea for your climate.
