I love this manga, but I find myself cursing at every chapter ever since I caught up whenever I get to the page saying when's the next chapter.

That finisher was loving insane. But I literally went "nooooo!" when it was the end of the chapter. This manga is so good it pisses me off how chapters end with no warning!

He became an official hero to finally have some cash since quitting his job yet his massive power and his own dumbness (and, on occasions, his nobleness) lead him to not actually earn that much money compared to everyone else. There's only two guys that actually like him. That's enough for him to not be a "mary sue" though that term is pretty outdated at this point.

God i love this too much. ...at this point can I jump to read ONE's version or are there still chapters that aren't translated at this point?

SatansBestBuddy posted:ONE's version is pretty much all translated up to the latest chapter. Ah alright, that's what I figured, was just worried that the skipped chapters wouldn't cover some that were translated by the redraw. Welp, so long pretty version.

My thirst for more OPM lead me to reading ONE's version, the art (thanks to its great composition) is Good Enough knowing Murata is following along making things better. All the extra side chapters and probably important additional details means I just can't miss out on Murata's version, so it's all just a great double-feature.

Lumberjack Bonanza posted:I've been rereading the series on a whim. I totally forgot about the bonus chapter where Young Saitama is fighting the guy who shadowboxed his ceiling fan's pull cord a lot. It looked like Saitama was not the invincible god he is now, being wracked with pain all the time from training and being taken out by this random weirdo. I am half-sure i have never read that chapter and need to find it right now

Huh, that's an interesting parallel that this extra stuff made clear: while Garou is fighting like a human (technique) to defeat heroes, Saitama is fighting like a monster (power) to defeat monster.

It's definitely odd to me, having already read the ONE version this stuff really throws me off, not really a bad thing at all, but it makes me a bit confused as to why because (slight spoilers about the overall arc) the arc is already pretty freaking long, like reading it all in one go gave me tons of moments of wondering how much loving longer could it possibly take, and that was cool, but yeah, already stuffed to the brim with stuff so more story is kinda head-tilting. Still hype, tho.

The middle part with the sentai team was pretty lame, but everything else was amazing. It was the most beautiful off-the-rails show ever, and the Cop's ending was fine, it was progression for his thing and not fixing it right away was a good call.

How far into a blind date could someone go before noticing that the date isn't a huge financial genius? "Oh, i've been into WSJ since I was around twelve, took me a while to truly understand what was going on, but since I was very young I could start seeing things most people wouldn't think of."

Saitama would be the one to get an anime on the 25th hour of the day. So anyways, that means it's a past-midnight anime, so we should expect hardcore stuff due to the timeslot? like, not as gruesome as some of the manga punches, but some pretty loving metal punches?
