I have always fantasized about doing what you are doing but the sheer amount of work has always been too intimidating. Keep on living the dream man, the sense of accomplishment once you are finished is going to be astronomical. Do you have any floor plans drawn out for the house yet or any aerial photos of the land?

You must have been one hell of a fort builder growing up. You should build a bunke...oh wait, the rocks. Build a tree house too!! and a watermill! and um..a dirtbike track!

Holy poo poo that's a lot of snow! I grew up on the beaches of Southern California...why would anyone want to be stuck in all that snow? It makes my feet and hands hurt just thinking about how cold it is. Great job on the progress so far!
