It really bums me out that Squre-Enix has put like all of their SNES rpgs on the Japanese VC but nothing anywhere else. I want portable SNES Square games so badly.

I feel as though Square-Enix has all but given up on RPG's in the West. It it isn't KH or FF, it isn't worth it to them.

Though you do have those great remakes on Steam :suicide:

I've seen or played most of the games on the American Wii U Virtual Console at some point in my life, and most of them are at least average. A few sneak in like Bases Loaded or Spelunker yea. But just going through Natsume's Wii U VC catalog for example, almost everything they dropped was like a 7/10 or higher. Even still, they're using publishers with a high pedigree.

I'd unironically buy and enjoy Spelunker, even if I never made it pass the first level
