I have been a nerd all my life. Would rather have painted little metal mans then played sports or do any kind of physical activity growing up, as soon as computers came commonplace they took over my life. My arms were probably skinnier than most normal dudes forearms at my most twinkish. Saying this at my heaviest (Doritos erday) weight I weighed 240lbs, And I think the lightest I've been as an adult was 185.

One day while working at my lovely old job some rear end in a top hat told me to just grab his kid a bicycle off the top shelf with my 'skinny little arms'. He was a piece of poo poo but after that I started doing pushups and pullups in the warehouse. Fast forward to now and I have been lifting seriously for a little over a year, my attitude towards my body has changed a lot in the last 5 years. Currently as a labourer my body earns me my bread and butter so it's in my best interest to care for it.

Stats: Height 6'1"
Current Weight 216lb
Age 27.7 Years

My goals are to get big and yoked, without becoming powerlifter fat. My Toxx goal is to be able to squat 300lbs by May 21 2013.

Other long term goals that I would like to achieve is a deadlift over 400lbs

I am running mostly bodybuilding style routines with high reps.... I train either at work (live at work) or in my muscledungeon at home in the garage. Like I said before I've only been seriously training for a little over a year. In that time I went from just randomly doing a bunch of excercises in the gym, to doing total body workouts every other day. After I got too burnt out from that I went to Alfalfa's Program 4 and started seeing good gains, then went to cavefish's BB program and ran that for a while, did 6 weeks of madcow 5x5 intermediate and now I am back on cavefish. I believe I didn't get maximum gains from not eating as much food as I should have. Best size and strength gains were coming from the 5x5 but I also was getting fat as poo poo and bored as gently caress. My best muscles are my quads/butt muscles and my worst are my forearms and calves.

Bench Press : 185x2 (lol) This has actually gone down, when I was fatter it was more

Overall terrible workout, had malaise and GI distress the whole time, blaming it on the gravy at dinner, terrible idea, should have stuck to the diet but it was a turkey/mashed potatoes ordeal. Went a bit lighter on the weights because back was still roasted from last workout and was focusing on form and squeezing and not being an rear end in a top hat, and not making GBS threads my pants.

durp, thanks on both counts.
I find that the addition of jefferson squats into the routine have helped out immensely. I could probably get to my toxx faster than the time I've given myself if I went on a squat specific training routine, but I think I can stick to the bodybuilding routine for aesthetics and still put 40lb on my squat through eatin'. God drat do I love me some eatin'

*** UPDATE*** 4:56PM PST Injury has occured, Left/trap neck muscle zone strain. Occured while doing a slow negative off my over the door chinning bar, this is a re-occuring injury that flares up every once in a while, have been trying to stretch it out but this might last a week or so usually, sometimes fucks up my back days

Just built it this year in the summer, maybe june or so? I found plans for it online and it was way easier to justify about $150 in materials to the wife than about $1000 for a metal power cage (Even the cheapest one was around $500 and then shipping to where I live worked out to that much).

I also bought the cheapest olympic barbell set I could find from canadian tire, so they ain't pretty, the bar is a 3pc bar that only weighs 35lbs, but a weight is a weight. In the future I'm looking to add a quality bar. The lat pulldown/rope 'pulley' is a couple of rescue pulleys meant for swiftwater rescue that are bolted to it and a little homemade connector for stacking the plates onto, works good man.

Drafted into work camp again so doing chores around the house for da wife before I leave. No workout again... did a few door mounted pullups for comedy between pisses.

Looking at other TFLC logs and seing all the lightweight baby's pulling and pushing bigger numbers than me, so weeeeeak. Big chest/triceps session tommorow to blast my tits though, going to try this cable cross pre-exhaustion theory and do a million sets and gonna gently caress a grape fruit too.

Also my wife says I have body dysmorphia so I laughed. But seriously every time

If you have basic woodworking/construction abilities you will be able to build these no problem, the hardest part is having the patience to drill all the holes for the pipes. There are some videos on youtube and lots of examples around the net to look at, you can go as fancy as you like. I think next summer I will give mine a sweet paint job with flames and skulls and wizards shooting lightning

Also, annoying when you are trying to bulk and gain weight and people bug you about the quantity of food that goes in. Yes I know I am gonna gain weight I am trying to gain weight.

I've sabotaged my muscle gains in the past by not eating like a maniac and it's not gonna happen again. Another thing is that the last time I purposely tried to bulk and started getting some fat on my body I got fat scared and reduced calories again and watched my poundages go down with my bodyfat. Trying to stick it out for raw mass this time.

Musclepharm Assault, NO-Xplode, some Superpump 250, L-Arginine, BCAA's and Fish Oil pills, AWESOME. Oh she also put in some cytomax for lols, even she said it was just for a joke. Never asked for this stuff she 'researched' it. Then the usual, booze, tools, and clothes. As well, my daughter got spoiled rotten.

Got the Captain of Crush NO.1, gonna squeeze her tits off now. Look out. Pretty committed to doing a round of 5x5 and just knock out my 300lbs squat and get so thick. Just waiting for christmas to subside and schedules to get more normalized.
