If fixing races is a lifetime ban, what then should be the punishment for stealing your entire car's design from the competition?

A big fine, because the two offences are in no way comparable.

gently caress my life, just signed up for Sky's HD package. Only saving grace is that it's £5 for 6 months. Roll the gently caress on Australia. I feel dirty.

Wrong, they are both greatly damaging to the sport and should therefore be excluded.

We have to be grateful Alonso was there at the time to expose them for the cheats they are.

I don't know if you or anyone here can answer this, but nor can the Sky UK website from what I've been looking at so here goes: If I already have Sky broadband but no TV or phone stuff whatsoever, is there a reasonably cheap way of getting the F1 channel or do I have to pay for their basic tv package and then their sports or HD package on top of that? It's never going to happen if it's the second one...

Ha, that missed high-five from Austin is in the season review.

Can anyone make that into a GIF file for an avatar? It's about time I get a new one, and it's prime time with the new season starting.

Quick and dirty, could probably be improved.

As to the f1 coverage: find someone who has a sky go code and beg it off them?

As CancerCakes said, Sky Go might be an idea.

I'm not sure if you get a discounted rate* or anything, because I'm not with Sky broadband. But go try it out, and report back to the rest of the thread.

*Doesn't seem that you do. Looking at £35 a month for the package that includes Sports

Anyone else been watching the classic races Sky have been showing this week leading upto the aussie GP. Its kinda fun to look back and see how coverage/information available has changed. Probably enjoyed the 94 1 hour highlights the best just as it was a proper trip back down memory lane.

You can tell it's Corporate, because whenever he has a non-F1 interview he actually answers questions properly. The amount that this "SULLEN, SILENT AND SOMETIME SWEARS" thing is being run into the ground, I'm convinced that it must be a contractual thing.

I guess that's pretty interesting of Chilton. What happens if he doesn't make poo poo in the future? Does he end up taking a minimum wage job and giving a percentage of money he makes from that?

Justin Wilson did that, there was a thread on Pistonheads a while back about whether or not people had seen any return.

Pretty certain it's going to be the latter of the two options unfortunately, we've been with sky for longer than I care to admit so the HD upgrade (on the £5 a month for first 6 months) was easier to swallow. But yea, the others have it about right, find someone with a sky go code and beg/borrow/steal it off of them I think. Must look into that sky go lark, I suspect I'll be using it a lot to watch the races whilst her indoors watches some inane rubbish and takes up all the tv time.

and yay, new thread!

Oh, if you're with Sky TV (any package, if I understand correctly), you can get Sky Go for TWO (2) DEVICES for exactly £0 per month. This means that if you always watch it on the same computer, tablet, or phone you can gift the other Sky Go code to someone else. This isn't me asking for it, of course (I'm covered for F1) - and nobody should ask you for it, it's to be offered imo - but that's where Sweet Hereafter might be able to blag a code from.
