That Madcatz ad will never not be awesome. It's like the FGC version of a sportscenter ad. If they made a whole series of them where it's just stuff like Combofiend and Justin Wong having coffee while Bison teleports into the break room, takes a snack, then teleports out.

I really hope they go with this sort of idea. I cannot get tired of watching that ad. They did something similar with SC2 and the EG guys, it would work even better with SF/MvC.

Do people not like HD Remix or does it just not fit well in tournaments where ST is basically a given? I would seriously rather watch back to back HD Remix and ST matches if it meant there was no time left for SFxT.

Usually a tournament like this would be played on arcade ST hardware, but Capcom's doing classic mode in HDR presumably to promote the game.

Either way I guess. I guess I just totally misunderstood what HDR was. I thought the new sprites were drawn in such a way that they could perfectly port HF and ST to HDR and just have like a Sirlin Edition on top of that as a seperate mode but I guess not? Edit: wait a minute of course they can. The only thing that matters are the hitboxes. I guess old sprites are just there for posterity.

To clear this up: HDR is a whole new game. You can choose to play Classic/ST mode in the game, which is meant to just be ST, but it is based on the Dreamcast port of ST which has some minute differences from the arcade version. People generally prefer the real arcade version, but you take what you can get.
