I try not to hold this against him. He really is a good actor, but after Pirates get got pigeon holed into one role and one role only, that of being a quirky silly character. Pirates pretty much ruined his acting career.

I don't agree with this - dude is comically popular and wealthy - he could go reinvent himself tomorrow if he felt like it. I've got no real judgement for him milking the gravy train with his Keith Richards impersonation if he wants to, but he can stop whenever he likes.
