I would prefer that Red gets a week off to have Barricade-kun's body parts removed from him. Eh, but this one was a Falcon squash that somehow ended up with a countout decision. A rematch makes tons of sense. Either that or throw him against Groose. (Barkley gets to face Red, wins that belt, cashes in on the Falcon/Groose match, stream monsters die of frothing rage) EDIT: I book worse than Vince. FANSean posted:Does the AI change gears arbitrarily? (I wouldn't put it past THQuality) or does it actually take the opponent's condition into mind? You're giving the AI too much credit. You only only spear people though the barricade if you have a finishing move stored, so Falcon stored a finisher and then the AI shifted into "ABLE TO WIN BY COUNTOUT, SHIFT TO COUNTOUT VICTORY CONDITION".

They did not deserve a rematch given the way the match ended, and I say this as a Raph fan. Seriously, look at this. The Cammy situation does stand as a clear-cut precedent for this sort of thing, though.

Watched the Red/Falcon match again with a tally counter. Red took 91 hits to the head, give or take a few. They weren't all punches, that number also includes other hits like the double Falcon Kick that drew blood.

Baz should just have Falcon say he didn't want the belt, he just wanted Red to show him his moves. Red then challenges Falcon again, title on the line, due to the shame. Either that or Falcon takes his bounty money from Dan/Dracula, or whoever gets the next title shot.

I like this idea since it gives Falcon a bit of character and plot he otherwise wouldn't get, and more characters need to get story eventually.

I liked the chat freaking out with "Falcon you idiot" when he broke up the first count, then it was explained that the belt couldn't change on a countout and he was actually being smart, then he didn't break up the second one. "Falcon you idiot"

Red has some sort of unholy blood magic contract with demons. No matter who sheds the blood, he gets a power boost. Normally it's his opponents, but in that match, he started bleeding early on, and despite getting the stuffing knocked out of him constantly, kept up a good fight for another drat near ten minutes. If the headcanon-embraced-by-everyone of "Eight badges then the Hardcore Title Shot), Falcon Rematch will have to occur. You can sequence break a gym, but that leader's still waiting for you. And if it does, I can't wait

Or he can take a leaf from Gary Oak's playbook and take 10 badges.

If we ever get to see trio team entrances for one reason or another, I hope baz gives this one to the Grumps. Team them up with a super serious fighter like Ganon or something for added hilarity. Shogunate posted:Well thing with the AI is that it will never make any special changes for a title match, it won't even recognize it's in a title match and will just try to win the match regardless of victory. So during one point during that match Falcon's AI set itself to "VICTORY BY COUNTOUT" which usually means either hitting the opponent with a finisher outside the ring or by as also seen in Cammy's title match, spearing them through the barricade. Also when an AI sets itself to "VICTORY BY COUNTOUT" it will not break that setting and will for the remainder of the match attempt that victory condition. Once you notice it you'll always notice when an AI is set to Countout victory cause it will always try to irish whip the opponent outside the ring and into the corner barricade.

I have a slight feeling that might be a hard CAW to make. We do need a Contra rep though. Let's pin aggressively!
