So IRT Ticket to ride, I have the steam version, so add me if you want to get down. Also if you have the steam version you can use your account to play the browser based version, not sure if it registers the expansions or not. What is the good settlers version on PC? Also are any of the Carcassonne PC games anywhere near as good as the xbox one?

Steam/PSN- Foxmedik I basically play CS:GO on steam, and Capcom fighters on the PS3/PS Vita. I have an Xbox 360, but I'm barely on it for games. Board Game night would be cool though. I do have Catan and Uno on my 360, but I'm usually not free on Fridays. We'll see how it goes.

I am overdesigned on steam and on iOS gamecenter. I have an XBL account but damned if I can remember what it is; I am pretty sure it's something motarded. When I get done moving after the new year I'll unpack the xbox and see what the hell it is. Mostly I play iOS stuff.

Godholio posted:That used to be the price for a normal computer. Remember back when Gateway, HP, Compaq etc did those all in one home computer box sets? You'd go to Comp USA (lol) and your dad would buy this MASSIVE box that had a Pentium 3 Computer, CRT monitor, printer, scanner, keyboard etc for like $4,000. Then your dad would smugly tell everyone how fast word opens. Meanwhile you spend a week uninstalling like 3 gigs of bloatware, and then open the PC to find out you can not physically fit a graphics card in and there is one RAM slot.

Surprisingly, my dad had his first desktop built by a computer shop. I remember it had a cool turbo button, but overall was actually pretty quick compared to my friends "Cow box" gateways and stuff.

Our first computer was a 486DX...this was right before the first Pentiums dropped. 18 mhz, but if you hit the turbo button on the front of the case it ran at 33...OH YEAH. After a year or two, we upgraded that bitch with a 2x CD-ROM and a Creative Soundblaster. It blew my mind that the Nazis in Wolfenstein actually said things...I was used to weird tower-speaker squawks. A couple of years later we got a Compaq Presario with a P2. After a couple more years I'd learned enough about computers that I wanted to tear them apart, and fortunately the 486 was in a closet. The loving boards in that thing were weird as gently caress and massive. Edit: That 486 remains tied with the NES as the BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER.

I remember my first computer.. An Apple IIe.. I was excited as gently caress when a few years after dicking around with BASIC games this awesome new game called Wasteland came out for it. Or at least came to the game store I went to. I snatched that poo poo up with all my lawn mowing / raking money and I bet I played it for a month straight non stop once I got it. Seriously, if you never got to play Wasteland on an old Apple IIe you missed some of the greatest video gaming of all time.
