I couldn't see a counterpart to the Tasteless Tattoo thread.
So, post your favorite jaw-dropingly lovely examples of skin art. If you know who did them as well, so much the better.

Anil Gupta.

No idea who did the tattooing, but a well done Drinky Crow on a extremely attractive girl certainly qualifies as actually GOOD in my book.

I believe there's a Goon who has one done by Amanda on his shoulder and he posted before and (months, maybe years) after pictures in the old Tattoo thread in YLLS. His aged really well and really the only difference was a slight fading in the colour but I don't remember it being nearly as "loud" as the one posted in the OP.

I know which tattoo you're talking about, not sure if it was done by her or not but it's definitely the same style.

The design still looked cool, but it lost A LOT of color vibrance in only a year or two.

First off, the detail is amazing, both the anthropomorphic pony and giant cupcake look exactly like they would in real life. The shading is stunning. You can tell how excited the pony is to hug and later eat the cupcake, a metaphor for how humans would both hug or eat another person, in different circumstances; how fragile our present circumstances are.
The iron cross on the pony's leg reminds us that nazis are still people, they love cupcakes as well.

The YLLS thread that was previously linked exists pretty much exactly for this, but has the added benefit of not being filled with people that know loving nothing about tattoos and what makes them good or bad. Hell, two of the pictures in the OP belong to people from said thread. This is 100% going to receive the same levels of retarded argument the 'Tasteless tattoo' thread gets.

To be fair though, the YLLS thread is full of mostly discussion interspersed with half decent tattoos. Here can (hopefully) be mostly pics of just staggering pieces of work.

Shane is the only one who is any good on that show. My shop has been trying to get him to guest there for quite a while now. I agree that I think that one was only ok for his talent level, but it's largely because the customer would barely budge on how much he wanted to fit into the tattoo in the limited amount of time. Given another two hours, that tattoo could be really good. If Shane doesn't win, I give up on them. Given that next week is portraits and that's pretty much his specialty, he's pretty much guaranteed safe this next week.
