Can we talk about Comic book tv shows too? Content, I'm really looking forward to Wolverine, thought I would have preferred if they had done the Logan and Kitty in Japan storyline.

I would be very surprised if Joel Edgerton did not get the role. Joe Carnahan has said he was also the guy that he was going to push for Daredevil.

muscles like this? posted:Official short list for Peter Quill in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: What an absolute embarrassment of riches that list is. Maybe not the rumored section, but really any of the ones above would be great. Though I'm not counting Levi, it would be odd for him to be two characters in the same continuity. But not too odd. Personally Edgerton, Redmayne, and Huston would be top picks. The only reason I don't say JGL is because he's been in so many awesome films lately I'd hate to see him overexposed. But hell, if he's up for it then whatever.

Might there be legal issues with JGL being in a Marvel and a DC franchise at the same time (provided the Batman rumours are true)?

None at all, if nothing else Ryan Reynolds has already worked on films based on books of both companies. Actors can work on whatever project they want, so long as they're union gigs.

You can add Michael Rosenbaum to the list as well. Apparently he just read for the role and is a good friend of James Gunn. So the embarrassment of riches continues.

So I just had a pretty awesome conversation about Deadpool with a few customers and I thought of something that I don't ever recall being discussed before, Donald Glover as Deadpool. He's a great actor, loving hilarious, amazing comedic timing, can sing, dance and since DP is scarred and wears a mask 90% of the time the color of his skin is not an issue. Thoughts?

I love JGL but I'm still hoping Zachary Levi gets the Quill role. I like him a lot and this could be his real big break.

Are any of the other Avengers set to make guest appearances in either Iron Man or Thor? I know that the movies are supposed to be set during a period where they're not together, but with Iron Patriot showing up I imagine they'll throw Cap into at least a quick scene or two in IM3.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the fanwank easter eggs because ultimately they don't get developed because 99% of the audience didn't notice that Hank McCoy appeared in the background on a tv screen for 3 seconds.
