Look who got fat again!

Stats:
Gender: crazy cat lady
Age: 25
Height: 5'3
Weight: 140

Backstory:
I lost a whole lot of weight, grew complacent and depressed and then gained a few pounds back. I subsisted on a World of Warcraft and diet and now none of my clothes look good anymore. I blame Obama.

Here's a new and better log with more cat pictures and less poo poo posting. I think we can do without an E/N BDD diary this time.

Goals:
Hooray, I don't need a toxx! My goals are pretty broad and generic (lose fat, gain muscle, eat well, make fitness gains), but I'd like to be where I was before-- squat 135, DL 185, BP 95-- so let that be a more concrete goal if one is needed. Mostly I just want to be fit without getting hung up on numbers, so if I weigh myself at all, it will be sparsely. I'd like to lose weight but as I'm not technically overweight, I won't let it be my focus. If I eat well at a calorie deficit and move more, it'll fall off naturally.

My camera's dead and you've all seen loving a billion pictures of me at every possible weight, so here's a cat picture instead.

That awkward moment when my own previous transformation pictures are used even as motivation for myself.

Tacos are rad. I'll have to look into figuring out a low cal alternative to the cheese and sour cream laden tacos I normally prefer.

Today's food:
I was out and about so I had a sandwich and soup at Roly Poly, but I put the second half of the sandwich away for dinner.

Broccoli cheddar soup- 160 cal
Pesto chicken sandwich- 644 (lunch and dinner)
Sliced and cooked red apple with cinnamon- 95 cal
Peanut butter and banana protein shake- 400 cal
Total: 1299

I went and got a gym membership again today! I'll start lifting again tomorrow, woop! I played ITG with my friend for half an hour today, though, and it felt good to get moving again. I actually wasn't as bad as I thought I'd be- I was still able to play my 9s and 10s without being too winded to finish most songs, although I needed to breathe for a minute before selecting a new song.

Gonna get some bad DOMS tomorrow, though. I'm going to totally be doing the crab walk at work this weekend.

Awesome title, glad to see you back! I hear that greek yogurt is a decent sub for sour cream although I haven't tried it myself.

I tried the low carb thing which is great, because I loving love meat, but as it turns out, I also love carbs. My body liked it too but gently caress me if I can go without my bread. Womp womp.

Coming from someone who doesn't like sour cream, it tastes the exact same to me.

Also, welcome back! You're going to do great, again! Looking forward to it.

I hope! I want 2013 to be the year of the swole! I think I made pretty good gains on such little time, training, and food, but this time, I won't give up when I life gets lovely.

Coming from someone who likes sour cream, it tastes very similar. Dooo eeeet!

Also, glad you're back. Lurked your log over Pooter's shoulder back in the day. Now I can lurk first hand. ... Oh wait, too late.

Glad to see your log, your original transformation is amazing and your goals this time around are hella good. The WoW though, shameful.

To chime in on the incredibly important Greek yogurt issue - you can totally use it as a sour cream substitute, especially if you flavor it with cumin/coriander/lime. Just don't make the horrible mistake of doing it without noticing that you bought vanilla flavored yogurt unflavored ONLY!

You guys are all so awesome and supportive. I love you guys.

I went back to the gym today for the first time since this summer. I couldn't do much because I was shaky and I lost all of my muscle, but hey, MY FORM WAS PERFECT! My front squats were so deep, I had some chick who was spending 30 minutes with 5-pound dumbbells staring at me.

Kept it light so I could potentially do deadlifts tomorrow. I don't think I will suffer too badly from the DOMS... I hope. If not, I saved upper body for tomorrow for a reason. If I'm doing the crab walk, then at least I can still bench.

Work-out:

ITG for 30 minutes

Elliptical for 5 minutes while waiting for the rack
Squats- 45x5, 55x5, 65x5, 75x5, 65x5
Front squats- 45x5, 55x5, 45x5 *dead*
Weighted hyperextensions- 10x10, 25x10

...and that's it. I was sapped after that. As it is, hours later, I still have jello legs. That's the price you pay after not lifting in so long.

Food:

Again, out and about, so I had Subway.
Sandwich- 900 calories, split into two meals
Sandwich later- 280 cal
Apple with cinnamon- 95 cal
Banana- 105

Total: 1380

I love the fact that people today want their ice cream handmade and massaged in front of them by a real person, but their frozen yogurt from a soft-serve vending machine.
