we just renegotiated our mortgage to help pay off our debt, so now that its swept under the rug we need to concentrate on keeping us "debt free". And this thread is a great way to do that. Thanks!

Re: Current Smut Trends. Everything is all over the place for everyone. Some people are selling monster erotica hand over fist while other people are selling billionaire bdsm just as well, or something else entirely. Gaywolves fell off the map for most of the high earners, but a few of us are still making some sales here and there. Everybody is moving different kinks at different levels so write what you think you can write well, put it up for sale and see if it sells! The thread in BFC is always happy to help out and have new smut slingers among us. Read the OP and see if it's for you.

I also think advising stock trading as a basis of managing ones life is both morally repugnant and obviously not very sensible. The Cornholio thread inspired me to start a budget and track my spending. 2 years later, my student loan is paid off and my bf and I have nearly 20% saved as a downpayment for a house. This is all thanks to one thread about a guy who was in some debt and got out of it. (and also partially thanks to one thread about a guy who was in some debt and then got into more debt. though I don't really dig schadenfreude, thanks zaurg.)
