Downtown Plaza has been sold to the Ranadive group, so sayeth the Bee. Purchase price wasn't revealed. The Macy's spot is apparently an independent spot and wasn't part of the purchase. Go fig.

The west end building is owned by Macy's and is unlikely to be relinquished. The east building is in receivership or something and I imagine it'll be bought by August, when Macy's vacates it. River City Brewery chose not to renew their lease. I'm a little surprised. A burger and brew joint right next to a stadium has got to be worth a lot. Maybe the rent spiked an unreasonable amount.

The ownership group is basically trying to consolidate and control all the land they need, which makes sense. JMA will still be involved as developers/consultants/mall expertise/whatever and I'm sure they made a nice penny on that sale alone.
