Put me up as a Panfers fan. As long as we don't get the spoon, I'll consider this a successful year.

Become a Tigers supporter and join us in the mother of all self-hating suicide cults. Revel in our unbridled optimism that gets crushed by our team's spectacular ability to self-destruct or clock-out of games at the drop of a hat. Watch as any player you actually like or that has talent is inexplicably sold and replaced by either a 17 year old or someone who is an insufferable twat who everyone hates. Just don't be a Broncos fan, or if you do don't flood the place with the pony gif. gently caress that thing's annoying. (mootallica, you're added to the OP)

Or you can just jump on the bulldogs bandwagon and experience what it feels like to see your team win the grand final this year.

Yet another example of fan optimism that will likely be crushed in the next 12 months.

Now taht you jinxed it, the Sharks will finally win the comp with the Tigers Second XIII. But whilst on predictions: The Tigers will fail to do anything but cause pain for their supporters and abject hillarity for all others except for Parramatta ones who suicided in round 10, sparking a brief Parra rally which delivers the spoon to Brisbane.

I think I need to pick a team that has the same name as an NFL team so I can keep talking about how the Cowboys-Raiders or Broncos-Panthers game last weekend was awesome and I can't believe he missed that conversion and then I end up with no friends because no one else I know really cares about rugby.

It's all good. If we don't do it this season we are stuffed with something like 12 of the top 25 off contract. So I have put all my eggs in the one basket and am skipping down the street to premiership glory. What could go wrong?

That's not really a prediction, so far as it's just rehashing the clubs history from 2000-2004,2006-present. And the Sharks being the Tigers Second XIII? Pretty sure they're our First XIII...

Inspired by Kevin Sinfield's extremely prestigious Golden Boot win, Sean Long decides to not allow retirement to get in the way of challenging the Australians in the "being a complete stinkyhole" stakes, which ends about as well as you probably expect. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-21030937 quote:Former Great Britain rugby league international Sean Long has appeared in court charged with assaulting a woman. I think we can probably shove this one with Gareth Raynor's printer ink scam in the "must try harder" file.

I'll try to be a bit more active in the thread this year, last year I made a few posts but my opinions were often shouted down as wrong and/or terrible. I might be one of the few girls posting in here though? I'm a QLDer (bogan) so LOVE ME FOOTY MATE. Mark me down +1 for the Doggies and the Cows (can't choose between First Love and Hometown Team). Ladder prediction: Storm Doggies Rabbits Cowboys Sea Eagles (ugh) Roosters (ugh) Sharks Knights Broncs Raiders Titans Warriors Tigers Dragons Eels Panthers

A thread full of Roy Slavens. A times it is comedy gold, and times it is sheer wrist slitting pain and everything in between. And it only gets better the more people post. So please, contribute to the thread about the greatest game of all.

Also, I'm sure your posts weren't too wrong and/or terrible as you didn't say you supported Sydney or Manly so they can't be all bad. Feel free to abuse our teams, everyone else including us will. We will all have group therapy sessions afterwards once Melbourne wins everything again e: added Big Steveo too, took me a minute to work out what Tigersharks meant. gently caress, I've been at work too long today. iajanus fucked around with this message at Jan 18, 2013 around 05:16 |

New coach and no Maloney will take some adjustment and I'm not sure the replacements are that impressive.
