I can't figure out how to message people in this game, but I applied in-game for the guild even though this game is convoluted as hell and I'm super dumb and hate reading poo poo and need to hire some chinaman to come to my house to cook shrimp fried rice and teach me how to play game. e: thank a girl fucked around with this message at Jan 20, 2013 around 01:11 |

Does the green flavor text actually impact anything?

Nathilus posted:The first style is a single blade set that contains a control combo and crowd favorite spin2win, an uninterruptable and highly damaging AoE. It is best in crowded circumstances like clearing trash in a dungeon or a guild war. The second set, leisure kick, is insanely high damage, easy to connect with, and used to own bosses and players 1v1. Boundless sword, the third set, is a ranged set with some mana sucking team buffs. This is great. I think a short breakdown of the different styles for all the classes would be super helpful. Also... I accidentally blew 100 unbound silver on a 30 day double yield farming buff, so if people have any Farming Simulator 2013 requests, put them on the spreadsheet and I'll hook it up.

As an Emei, what the gently caress do I do when i get ganked? Just sit there and take it and hope for a swift death? Getting camped by other guilds while I farm and quest is getting a little old.

Cao Ni Ma posted:If the person vastly outlevels you then there is very little you can do regardless of your school. You will die very fast. If you are about the same level though, you have a block stance that slows people down allowing you to fly away. Also a stun and a pushback in the sting sets. Hrm, I guess that usually I'm outleveled. I run the slowing block stance when I'm out and about, but it seems like 90% of the time I'm being ganked by an RG anyway, so I struggle to gain the distance needed to get away. I'll have to play around with the sting set a bit more and see if that helps. I have fun with the class in group PvP, but I feel pretty helpless 1v1. Out of curiosity, which class is considered to be the strongest in 1v1?

Thanks for all the Emei advice, I'm a bit more enthusiastic about sticking with the class after reading these posts. I'm 23 inner with nothing else levelled yet, so I'll just stick it out, because it sounds like the class does eventually get to be what I thought it was when I started playing. Any ideas what a decent price for Step on High Ladder is right now? I saw it for 60L when I first started playing last weekend, but today it was being advertised at 175L.

Venerable Monk posted:Make another account, its very useful to have 2 accounts in this game. This. And it's super easy to run multiple clients simultaneously and tab through to quest/gather/spy/whatever on each account while you're traveling/waiting for cooldowns/etc on the other one(s).

Mortemus posted:Someone in your school can probably show you where this area is and when you do obtain some school discipline just go sit there before you go afk to do real life stuff. For Emei it's at the Demon Suppressing Tower (roughly @ 66, 350 -- southeast of the school area). I spend a lot of time there.

^^^^ keep following your storyline -- Feel free to send me any coarse cloth to me as well and I'll convert it into hanxiang cloth and forward it along up the crafting chain. And don't be shy to request big item bags on the spreadsheet -- I have a fuckton of watery silk that apparently no one wants. a girl fucked around with this message at Jan 31, 2013 around 17:47 |
