That Free State Project thing is a joke. Basically they assume all NH citizens are idiots waiting to be rescued by libertarian heroes and not simply mostly small town folks who only really care about their day to day lives in a beautiful state and less about redstate/bluestate politics. The FSP thinks NH will simply welcome the enlightened college aged masses from the west to preach their libertarian gospel and allow them to overthrow the local government only because of the state motto. Unsurprisingly, it didn't work out. If that isn't imperialism, what is?

Isn't the fact that he wants to build this in the USA a problem, though? You can't just decide that your stupid town is a magical unregulated free market utopia. Surely it will still be under state and federal legal jurisdictions and food/environmental safety laws, financial regulations etc.? If some libertarian hero bootstraps his way to making a fortune forcing children to work in his asbestos mine, Uncle Sam is going to poke his dirty socialist nose in and mess everything up.
