Another great We Hate Movies is their Pippi Longstocking episode. They really hated that fucken movie and I loved the idea of Pippi Longstocking as brought to you by AMC. Another great one is One Magical Christmas. Their German Santa still cracks me up.

Sporadic posted:I'm listening to it now and it's one of their better episodes. No crazy screaming over each other. No missing basic plot points. It's everyone basically going for the entire episode. We Hate movies had that reaction with One Magic Christmas. They were in complete shock over how it was a Christmas movie and how insane the movie was.

The "director's cut" episodes were always fantastic, and I might continue to check those out. I've been trying to get into We Hate Movies and The Flophouse, although I'm a little put off by how much they seem to dislike everything they've watched so far - except for We Hate Movies' love of I Come In Peace which is impossible to hate. I was going to check out Yeah, It's That Bad but I'm hearing so many negative things about it, and looking over the movie list it seems like they don't understand what a bad movie is. Oldboy, seriously? They really liked hider in the house and invisible child. Also the glorious On Deadly Ground bobkatt013 fucked around with this message at 03:24 on Apr 17, 2013 |

WHM did it too and they liked it since there was the koala.

WHM Boondock Saints 2 review is incredible. Then the film Overnight is even more incredible. Tatum Girlparts posted:I just want to echo what they said how legitimately creepy it is to be doing this kids (I loving assume?) movie about how generic brands are literal nazis and buying all your favorite corporate names literally keeps them alive. Like they said for Toy Story it worked because the point was the love for your toys and the innocence of childhood and all, this is literally "IF YOU DON'T FUCKIN BUY CHARLIE THE TUNA'S TUNA YOU LOVE NAZIS". As I said the message of his movie is abhorrent. Along with everything else.

bango skank posted:Jesus christ gently caress whoever decided to edit Yeah it's That Bad the way they do. I wanted to try it out since I love WHM but I've listened to everything they've got, so I downloaded an episode and barely made it five minutes in. The way it's cut gives it this schizophrenic, frantic feel to the whole thing. Someone will say something funny, they'll stat laughing, and like a second into the laugh it just cuts to them talking more. It's unnerving and felt like it was going to give me an anxiety attack. I don't have any idea how people could listen to this on the regular. Everything about that podcast is bad. They have not had a good movie choice in a while and they talk about the movie for about 15 minutes. It just seems that its mostly in jokes and something that only friends would enjoy.
