I can't see him standing up to Dark-Donald/Rare Akuma/Omega Tom Hanks though.

It was for King of Colosseum II. The wrestlers are Mutoh, Misawa, Hashimoto, and Chono. I believe they were there to represent four of the main factions in the game (All Japan, Noah, Freelance, and New Japan).

Eurovision is pretty much a tournament where random acts from European countries and non European countries sing mostly terrible songs. The quality of which is made irrelevant because all the neighbouring countries vote for each other. It's fun to watch people get so wrapped up in it though. It's also fun to play "Guess which very attractive lady singer is actually a man". In short, watch the Father Ted episode "A Song For Europe". It's funnier and will probably explain far less that you'd think, but it's Father Ted, so watch it anyway. Now can we get back to talking about Okada and Gedo playing Pop-up Pirate?

KungFu Grip posted:There was more to the AJPW and Virtua Fighter cross over than that game. Things kinda went full circle in VF5 when they gave Wolf the Turbo Drop III, which was the finisher of Jim Steele, the guy who played Wolf in AJPW. It was also a really good move in game because it could lead to some very big damage wall combos. Then they took it out from Final Showdown and replaced it with Goto's finisher instead. Also, as nerdy as it is, in terms of representation of wrestling moves in fighting games, VF is probably the most realistic. There's a hell of a lot of little touches to the moves that games like Tekken and Dead or Alive just don't do.

People may call the game boring or hard, neither of which is true because it's the most balanced big name fighter around, but it's pleasing to watch the moves. When you compare the way Marduk's Jackhammer is done to Wolf's, you spot a ton of differences which makes Wolf's version look so much better.

Looking it up, this is true, however it seems only two people did the motion capture for Tekken 3, and the other was another lesser-known wrestler, so Suzuki could have done Yoshimitsu's mocap too.

I met Christopher Daniels at the San Diego Comic-Con about 5 years ago. He was a nice man. I now partly feel guilty about saying I hoped TNA would re-sign him because TNA, but 2012 did give us Bad Influence, Claire Lynch, and a lot of really solid AJ vs Daniels matches with Kaz and Angle thrown in at times, so there was some good out of it. Also he had the greatest weapon of all time.

The fan was so nice that he kept the jacket and wore it because he didn't want to tell the fan he'd made a mistake and hurt his feelings.
