I got into this comic and read all the archives. I came here to read the thread, saw the formspring link, and scrolled allllll the way to the bottom. I was hoping for more cool worldbuilding but at least half of the questions were related to whether the author's roleplaying characters were circumcised and how gay, exactly, they are. So I think I'll stick with the comic.

I mean, we don't need this to be Cucumber Quest but it feels hard to root for anyone, particularly among the adults. The comic's scale of evilness seems to run on "how willing is this character to commit atrocities" and it runs from Lex Luthor to Hitler.

Seems unlikely the queen is involved. What would she really gain? She's already the queen and she could escalate the way if she wanted. I'm sure there's a better way to consolidate power than blowing up her own palace with the equivalent of an unstable, untested nuke. Plus, there have been a lot of hints that the queen is a person of great personal power, someone important to the way Cresce runs separate from the fact that she just happens to be the person who is the current queen.
