Man it is a credit to the Habs organization that they saved him from the dustbin of history.

Youppi is an actual Muppet who was designed by the same guy who created Statler and Waldorf, was the only mascot in MLB history to be ejected from a game for rowdiness, and is just loving awesome and orange.

It's been confirmed that the Canucks will be wearing those on March 16th.

There's also a blue version

So the question is are the Canucks going with 3 third jerseys in the future? It seems like an awful expenditure for a one off thing, and why make two versions if it's a one time thing?

Looks sharp though.

I'm pretty sure that blue one is a shop that someone did. Look at the letters, they're still maroon.

As far as I've heard, that uniform set will only be used a couple of times at most in conjunction to ceremonies about professional hockey turning 100 in Vancouver. The main 3rd will still be the stick in the rink.

I see Rochester Americans when I look at the blue one. The red is much better, but if they only go with one I think it'll be the blue one as red isn't in the Canucks colour scheme anymore.

Man I wish the god drat owners could settle on a single look and stick with it forever. Hell, the Colorado Avalanche have stuck with their main logo for 18 years, the Canucks have had about 10 jerseys in that time.

why would a 20 year old who is struggling in college hockey get out of college hockey when his only successful year (that got him drafted as an overager) was in a AA jr league? canucks won't sign him yet, he doesn't have a chance of being successful or signed in the AHL so... out of college and into the ECHL?

Rangers actually looked pretty good and fast against Philly

The problem isn't that hte Rangers players are slow, but they play some kind of deliberate style for some reason, instead of pushing quickly up ice.
