The silver lining in this here big poo poo cloud is that Teapartiers segregating themselves to yet another insular echo-chamber for conservative blockheads is a telling sign that their extremism is becoming increasingly offensive to the general public, in other words, their views are becoming less and less supported by the majority. Also they will have their asses sued from under them.

I wonder what kind of technology stack they're using? If I had to guess, none of this was actually coded by hand - they just installed some crappy generic PHP social network package. Also, it seems they've really skimped on the hosting. The place is slow as molasses whenever it actually loads.

This site has a few fun accessibility easter eggs. First, click the English (US) link at the bottom. I'm seeing a dialog with that as the only option. Learn English to live here, I suppose. Second, it appears they actually did make some effort to make this not a straight copy/paste job. On Facebook's login page, take a look at the header. The Facebook logo is displayed using a CSS background-image, then some fancy absolute positioning to make it accessible to screen readers. On Tea Party Community, they opted for the simpler <img> approach, but they decided to omit the alt attribute. The blind can pull themselves up by their bootstraps!
