Also, I really love the artist's work who did all these covers - EXCEPT FOR THE UNCANNY VALLEY FACES. (Also hands. Basically any part of the models that show human skin look bad.) If they could do a paintover on the faces to remove the 'fakey cg uncanny valley' look of them, they'd be perfect.

Yeah they're not very good looking. The costuming and machinery/gizmos all look fantastic - as do the backgrounds. (Which are CG too but nicely designed in composition for the most part.) I wish the 3D models were painted over or better quality. They look too uncanny valley meets cheap 'poser' art.
