Well I had to phone his friend to state my case, and say he's lost control again.

And he showed up all the errors and mistakes, and said I've lost control again.

Last year we didn't do this because apparently everybody in these parts is worse at organizing people than me, which I think is real accomplishment and you should get awards for that.

This year, SI Yanks ticket prices have normalized and there are no life events to stop me from taking care of all the calling and the emailing and the paying and collecting cash out of your hides for group tickets.

While I am only willing to organize one baseball trip from start to finish I don't see a reason why we can't use this thread to gauge interest for smaller trips. For example: If we get five people at a Newark Bears game we'll practically have the whole place to ourselves and their beer is cheap and last year my friend got a rise out of Jose Canseco. That was pretty awesome.

Anyway here's the info I have for Staten Island right now:

Group start at 10 people, which is why we go there. At other parks it starts at 20 which is harder to do. They are $12 a piece. I'm not sure if it includes a free hat anymore but if you really want an SI Yanks hat I have a pile of them.

Here's all the weekend dates for the year. I am not including Fridays because I'm already going to most of those (though you're welcome to join me).

pre:
June 22nd 7pm Hudson Valley
June 23rd 4pm Aberdeen
July 6th 7pm Hudson Valley (Andy Pettitte day of worship at Yankee Stadium)
July 7th 4pm Connecticut
July 20th 7pm Mahoning Valley
July 21st 4pm Mahoning Valley
July 27th 7pm Brooklyn
July 28th 4pm Aberdeen
August 10th 7pm Lowell
August 11th 4pm Lowell
August 18th 4pm Tri-City
This is real far in the future, I know. A thing that might pop up for me is Yankees Old Timer's Day. I have to figure out when that is.

I'm down to do this again. Most of those Sundays aren't going to work for me, but I'm down for basically any Drive In Saturdays. I guess I'll have to pay my debt to NYC Parking Authority so I don't get my rear end arrested or something.

Bumping this. I'm not very interested in hunting people down so if it doesn't get enough interest I'm going to let things die.

While I am not a baseball fan, my friends and I have gotten suites the past 2 years for SI Yankees games and had a great time. Nothing like heckling both teams after killing the keg they provide and making the parents in the surrounding boxes cringe.

My friends certainly think so.

Please take my prior post literally word for word in the worst way possible. Obviously I hang over the railing, spilling Coors light all over myself and the people below me trying to mock young baseball players!

We go to have a good time. If someone playing has a ridiculous name, we make a joke. Do we yell obscenities at the people around us? No. Do we say crude things a little louder than we should as the night goes on ? Yes.

Last year we attended the game attended by Cardinal Dolan and sponsored by the Boy Scouts so the players were spared. Our jokes were directed elsewhere.

I am dropping this here because it's not nearly organized enough or likely to be large enough to warrant its own thread.

Since I know there are people who've made the trek up to Staten who aren't right in the NY area (it's me), if anyone is interested in getting together and watching some more Mid Atlantic-style baby baseball like the Ironbirds, Blue Rocks, or RiverSharks (note: not actually *baby* baseball) that would also be cool and I'd be up for that too.

CanadianJericholeaf

I'm down to see the Riversharks pretty much whenever. My normally allotted days off are in the mid week, so I'm down for whatevs if anyone from Philly crew or NJ/NY crew wants to throw something together on the fly.

As far as Staten Island is concerned, people should give me some input on what dates are good terrible so I can start talking to the team about securing tickets. Doing so will ward you against being set on fire by my rage.
