 WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH RAW: 1. Brock Lesnar has returned after "quitting" last summer, and Paul Heyman apparently still has a job. Why you should care: Paul Heyman has now amassed a group that includes former UFC Champion Lesnar, the longest-reigning WWE Champion in 25 years, CM Punk, terrifying newcomers The Shield, and adorable cool guy Brad Maddox. It's gonna be pretty good. 2. The Rock has a WWE Championship rematch in two weeks at Elimination Chamber against CM Punk. Why you should care: The two of them have been doing great work as "guy who hates the fans" and "guy who loves the fans", and it will undoubtedly continue as they build to their second match. 3. Jack Swagger is back from his sabbatical. Why you should care: I don't know. Do you care about Jack Swagger? 4. John Cena continues going on his path to WrestleMania on his collision course for the WWE Championship. Why you should care: Don't care about it, and then you will be happier with the product. 5. BRUNO SAMMARTINO is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame!! Why you should care: This is a huge deal for the WWE. Sammartino has turned down the WWE's advances for years now, refusing to go into the Hall of Fame as long as Vince McMahon Jr. was in power. Yet Triple H pulled off a coup, finally convincing Bruno to go into the Hall of Fame, inducted into the place he made special -- Madison Square Garden. I don't know if this is happening or not but apparently it is? I put it in spoilers but if someone can confirm that would be great. MizTV featuring Paul Heyman, which means Miz is probably going to get F5'd, is apparently happening. At least I think so. I might be wrong but I swear I heard it on one of those shows.

We're going to yell at things at some point over the next three hours, as well you ought, because yelling is the very best. It's wrestling, man! It's the WWE! They've spent decades trying to get you to yell! Have some fun, man. poo poo ain't serious. Your bills will get paid, that girl will stop calling, that OTHER girl will START calling, and for the next three hours, gently caress the rest. Let's chill out and remember that there's a company dedicated to distracting you. It will spend millions of dollars on extraordinary pyrotechnics, blistering sound, and high-end video technology to make you forget how stupid today, or yesterday, or the day before was. Let's chill the gently caress out. Let's yell at the guys we hate and the guys we love. Let's love the guys the regular people hate, because it's fun to be against the grain sometimes. Let's root for CM Punk, who has to have other flaws to compensate for the fact that not drinking and drugging is somehow a bad thing in our weirdo pantomime world. Let's boo John Cena, who is basically 1950's Superman at this point, and nobody found any Kryptonite for him. The kids love him, and we're adults, right? Let's hate him. What's about to happen this week? Who knows! Something loving ridiculous, I bet. We're not here for elaborate storylines. Somebody's gonna make a poop joke. The obvious laughter lines are going to be highlighted and telegraphed. All that's missing is the horse that's obviously two people covered in strategically placed felt. I'm amazed nobody has done this in the ring yet. And we're gonna laugh about things. Laugh ironically because of the obvious pandering. Laugh unironically because every so often, the abyss doesn't just stare back. It winks. It says "Yes, we know, we're being absurd." Maybe Kane will detail his history again, or Daniel Bryan will say something just a bit too knowingly insane, or Paul Heyman will let his mask of perfect crowd-baiting slip for a microsecond and we'll all go YES! IT HAPPENED! Wonderful things will happen, and boring things, but one thing I can guarantee is that there's gonna be a whole lot of folks who say "Stop thinking about that. Think about this.
