I appreciate the new effort put into RoH OP's. I like Jay Lethal lots but not as a main eventer. Not sure who else could beat Steen for the title and I'm not really interested in the product until he gets a credible challenger.

They should've had Elgin join SCUM instead of Rhino and positioned him to be the next champ. He's an incredible wrestler who could really use Jacobs and Corino to cover for his lack of mic skills.

Could have been an interesting Batista-type thing, where he is the muscle of the group until he finally breaks free and challenges for the title. Or until SCUM turns on Steen and backs Elgin instead. Edit: ROH posted on their newswire that they're going to be signing some of new talent to long term contracts. "A deal is almost finalized that will make Ring of Honor's return to Toronto & The Ted Reeve Arena on May 4th and 5th worth going out of your way to see. Stay tuned for details!" Also if they resign Elgin I can easily see him champ by the end of the year. Also it looks like Steen is turning face so SCUM will be breaking away from him soon and Elgin would be a good horse to back.

Is anyone in the market for older ROH DVDs? I still have a huge collection and wouldn't mind reducing it a bit. Still not overly concerned about selling it, so I'm not going to ebay it yet. If anyone is interested in wacky FIP DVDs I wouldn't mind doing some grab bags of that as well.

Since some of you are Roddy fans I thought to mention a tidbit. Scott D'Amore mentioned to me how he saw Roderick Strong at the ROH show in Michigan and apologized to him about how poorly he was used in TNA and that while he pushed to give him a character the other bookers were not a fan of him. Strong said there was no need to apologize because after getting released by TNA, every independent company had to pay him more as a former TNA talent including ROH. I might have the numbers wrong but I think he said he went from $200 to $450 with ROH.

I kinda fell out of watching ROH when Tyler Black won the title. Has Roderick Strong gotten really good since then, or is this ironic love for him? Cuz he was loving garbage back then.
