Another person had the exact record we needed and was able to run down and grab it to look on the inside cover for a small sign. Maybe watching that marathon of Horders will pay off this year. Everyone is welcome to stop in and see what they can do. As for IRC: There is a webclient here http://cgiirc.synirc.net/ Change the channel there to #tp and pick a nick and you'll be right in If you know how to work irc we are on this server irc.synirc.net If not, ask and someone can help you get in.

Yes, it sounds like having hundreds of people working from their *homes* will be massively more effective than those same people all in one room. If a lot of questions are about a product or item that there is a 1% chance a specific individual might have in their house, then if you have 300 people online posting FROM their house the chance of at least one of them having it is pretty good.

I had a great time playing last year. If we need more help doing anything leading up to or during the event this year let me know. I was CST last year, but recently moved to Boston so i'll be slumming it with the EST goons this year. SO MUCH FUN

Having goons from around the world helps too. I vaguely remember someone from Europe helping us with a picture question in Trivia 42. There was a logo that we couldn't find the source of until he or she remembered that it was from an airline.

Thank you. I will start testing it on wed when I have a day off. Are you guys going to have a meet up in point? Probably won't even need to do this as I think mumble can pick up your line-in if you have a non-crap sound chip in your computer. Otherwise VAC is going to be the trick -- make your Line-In hook to your "Microphone" so Mumble can listen to your Mic input and get the radio feed.
