While combing through Steam Greenlight for lovely games to profile I found this abominable piece of crap: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil...s/?id=125349038 I started writing about it and then decided to look a little further into it, checking out the HARDCORE TECHNOLOGIES site, it seems like it's someone in Russia who will crap out a game for you based on your specifications. Here's the description of their service: quote:Here,at Hardcore Technologies we do care what people play, and we want them to play the games that they desire.Since not everyone is a game developer, and most of the companies do not take sugestions from the players,we are diferent! I'm not linking to the site just in case it's virus-ridden, but here's what the form looks like: ![]() I for one can't wait for them to make me a Horor Racing game.

I like how "Zombie action" and "zombies" are two separate genres.

Woah, that is strange. On the surface, it looks nothing like the blatant scam that is Hammerpoint. Though I wonder why they don't just get hosting in the US to give them some legitimacy if they are legit. Are they that poor, or just new? Also, i totally want a racing/zombie/third person action/FPS game. I'll also make sure to not that "This Sucks" for what I think of the idea. e: I'm assuming the site is russian. Is it? This is perfect. Now all those dudes who have the perfect idea for a realistic zombie shooter steampunk romance sci-fi time travel Sonic the Hedgehog game will finally have the programmers and artists to make their dream a reality. I hope they give these folks lots of their money and never see anything come of it ever!

It feels like I'm staring into some alternate reality where games are made entirely by russian factory workers who have never seen the sun.

Am I sensing an opportunity to see how ridiculous of a "game" we can get out of these people? That is, if they don't just take people's time and money and run with it, which is a likely possibility. Edit - I was expecting a spider with disco lights when I read "BOOGIE SPIDER".
