Spoiler alert: the State of the Union is strong. What time is this thing? 9:00 PM Eastern Time. Visit the government's time website to figure out what that is for those of you living in inferior time zones. Where can I watch Obama's last SOTU before his inevitable impeachment? On any television channel. Turn on your TV. It'll be on. Here are some live stream links for those of us who don't own a TV White House: http://www.whitehouse.gov/state-of-the-union-2013 C-SPAN: http://www.c-span.org/SOTU/ Please do post any other legal streams and I will add them to the OP. Please do not beg people to post stream links. What about the Republican reaction? Marco Rubio will give the GOP response shortly following the speech. Rand Paul will give the Tea Party response at 10PM. Both will be shown on C-SPAN's stream. I'm going to guess neither will be shown on the White House stream. Holy poo poo there are third parties in the US?!? Jill Stein will also respond to the State of the Union speech at 9PM. What if I'm a shut-in who is allergic to light and hates internet forums? Doesn't seem likely given that it's being reported that Rand's Tea Party response will say that the US should adopt immigration reform and cut spending. I'm going to go waaaaaay out on a limb and say that Rubio's speech might focus on similar subjects.

The big news so far is that he's going to announce the withdrawl of 34,000 troops from Afghanistan by this time next year. I don't think that's particularly surprising since he said as much during the campaign.
