it'll be a pretty big thing to tackle, so it depends on liking the game around as much as FC, and if I can get a script dump again (because lol at transcribing one of these games). if both those things happen i probably will unless something happens to cut down on my free time a bunch

Never had many problems with Chester one or two. Die 3-4 times to get a grip on all the attacks, then you just clown him by jumping away constantly until he does the forward lunge if you wanna play safe and boring. Or bait him into sword-comboing by jumping close to him, then retaliate for slightly-less safe countering. Rinse and repeat ca. 15 times. Now Zirduros on the other hand, gently caress that guy forever. gently caress him and his ridiculous instant huge gently caress-off laser beam he likes to chain 3 times in a row

Chester 2 (Hard+?) will actively cheat constantly and cancel out of his post-thrust period because he can.

I like the bumper car combat in The Legend of Xanadu, where after you just grind a bit you can become an unstoppable bumper car of death, zooming around the area steamrolling your foes.

I like both about equally, maybe edging a bit more towards Oath because I have nostalgia for Ys III (shut up) and you don't have to beat it once to play as the best character.

If you're looking for a tougher experience though, I can definitely seeing Felghana as the go-to. I just played both back to back (again) and I just enjoy Origin more, personally. Yunica is great but Number 3 is just on another level of fun to play.

I've actually not played as Toal yet. I couldn't be bothered to do both Yunica and Hugo's routes, so he's not unlocked. Does anyone know if there's a way I can play it without having to literally play the whole game again?
