 The year is 1938. Germany has just solidified its occupation of Czechoslovakia and has begun to quibble with Poland over the free city of Danzig. There have been demands for its incorporation into the German Empire which, given Germany's recent aggression, cannot be allowed. Fears are that soon Germany will break off diplomatic ties to Poland and invade, and if that happens, Great Britain and France will have no choice but to declare war. As tensions mount, Great Britain calls her allies together to discuss what should be done about the German threat. Be warned: Supporters of the Axis Powers are likely in the Tactical room sowing discontent and misinformation.  Welcome to World War 2 Mafia! This game has been constructed for 17 people General Rules and things of note: - Please do not Lurk. I have a rather low tolerance for lurking and will be quick to prod and, if necessary, replace you at my discretion. I will modkill anyone I need to after N1 is complete. Please make sure you have the time to play this game so everyone can have the most fun possible! - Do not break any of the Standard Mafia Rules. Examples would be quoting mod PMs, faking Day Actions, attempting to break the game with Toxxes and other such things. - Keep in mind there are, in fact, Forum Rules. Follow them. Follow them well. - Flavor arguments are probably a bad idea. - Though this is in the standard rules, I want to stress that you must not edit your posts. Some people get away with ninja edits, but try them at your own peril! - Keep in mind that the game will almost certainly be ahistorical. - Expect fairly quick turnarounds. Nights won't be any longer than 24 hours and I'm going to try to keep them shorter. Days will likely be about 3 real-time days long for D1/D2 and shorter from then on, at my discretion. I should also almost always be around to post flips right after hammers, but if I'm not, please respect them! Same goes for day actions. I think it's likely they will be at least 12 hours, though it is possible that the night cycle could be shorter at the very end of the game. Also, if you're brand new, you may want to do a little reading to familiarize yourself with some roles you may encounter. Also, I notice some of you are pretty new, so something to stress: DO NOT EDIT YOUR POSTS. This is the easiest rule to break accidentally but it is crucial to the game. The Poles fought hard but their numbers and their tanks were too few. Soldiers, civilians, children...it made no difference. All fell beneath the boot of the German Empire.
