Things are still very much in motion for the foundation, we're working out some things at this point that will hopefully drive donations and help organizations more than just handing them money. This is more of a "soft-opening" at this point.

The Refurbished Pet Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that teams up with artists to raise money for charities and causes that promote animal welfare. Several artists have offered up artwork of "refurbished animals" that we are featuring on merchandise, with 100% of proceeds going to a different charitable organization each month. Stuff like this:

Though I'm hoping to feature other stuff like art prints in the future. For June, proceeds will benefit the Animal Humane Society that Tycho and Refurb were adopted from.

Thanks folks

The idea is still evolving at this point. I'm looking at next month already, using the proceeds to provide specific needs for the next charity we support. Every shirt that we sell raises enough money to make a blanket and a toy (possibly more than just one of each), for example, so things might get more hands-on as we start actually making things for charities. It should be fun.

You know, the cat thread said the same thing. In fact, I did not. I was talking to them to try and get them to look at the camera and I think Tycho just completely forgot that Refurb was even there and decided to beg for belly rubs. Him smart dog.
