Similiths will give you the exact same fighter they originally dropped from. There is no point in saving up because each similith will give a specific thing.

I had no idea that was the case. Makes sense, though.

So, is there anything that's recommended to buy that will make you good and competitive in this game?

I'm hesitant to spend money because I find all the systems a little confusing to be honest, and I don't want to waste cash on something useless.

I have been playing the game a lot though, so I don't mind spending money if it will help my experience.
