Hey fellas,

I make music under the moniker "Giraffage" and I very recently released a new album. I think I'm at a pretty good point in my music career, having recently toured all over Europe with XXYYXX and recently getting signed to Alpha Pup Records. It's definitely been a crazy year, and I don't post on Something Awful a whole lot but these forums have definitely contributed to my success. I've learned so so so much about production via the Musician's Lounge and goons were among the very first people to support my first project (Robot Science), which boosted my musical confidence immensely.

Anyways, I'd definitely love to share my new album with all of y'all. It's completely free.

As for what my music sounds like, I like to describe it as sample-based, experimental electronic music. A lot of people have described it as "baby-making music". It's definitely a very sensual/sexually themed album. With all that said, it's probably easier if you just preview a song: http://soundcloud.com/giraffage/close-2-me

Just enter 0.00 as the price for a free download.

Feel free to share this link around, no bandwidth cap

If you like what you hear and want to keep up with my current shenanigans:
Like my page on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/giraffage
or follow me on twitter: http://www.twitter.com/giraffage

Feedback is always welcome of course. Ask me anything. If you do indeed enjoy it, it would mean a lot to me if you shared it around

Downloaded this one on release day and I've listened to all of your stuff as Robot Science and Giraffage, and got my friends to do the same. This guy makes awesome music and you should all listen to it RIGHT NOW.

Sweet, I didn't know that one of the best albums from the last Groupees bundle was made by a goon!

I am only about 10 seconds in to the first track and already know I'm going to love this. Great work and thanks!

Oh wow! Big fan of your music. I saw you with Slow Magic and Teen Daze at The Virgil in Los Angeles last summer.

Weird question, but did you happen to be in the crowd at Low End Theory this week? I thought I saw you there.

Picked up one of your songs on the Kitsune America comp a while back. Thought it was the best track on that album, so I'll definitely be grabbing this.

Saw you at 1015 with mount Kimbie I think? Your stuff is rad, I'm always surprised when musicians I like reveal themselves as goons.

I grab your stuff whenever I can, and it's never been a let down. This one didn't break the chain, so keep the good stuff coming. XXY is great too! Cheers on your success!

Fool me once...

Your music is unbelievably good - "Home" is by far my favourite track of the year, and one of the catchiest things I've ever heard. Can't wait for some kind of UK tour, since I missed the one time you played with XXYYXX.

Sweet! I love Robot Science and I wasn't sure I liked Comfort right away, but upon another listen I think it's even better than Square. I still love Doodads the best though. Can't wait to get this one!

Thanks! Well, I played Low End Theory LA last week. Other than that, I've been touring the west coast with XXYYXX so it probably wasn't me

Naw I'm not, but I love Team Supreme and the whole crew

If by Seatlol you mean Seattle, Washington, yes I actually played a show last night at ReBar. But now I'm at the airport about to head back to SF ;__;
