GOO PUNCH!!

I've been seriously considering getting a budgett's frog ever since I saw photos of them on a tumblr feed. They are so adorably blobby and . I've read up on their care requirements and it seems they are fairly undemanding. The only thing that seems tricky is their annual aestivation requirement. I have asked for input in the herp thread, but it seems the vast majority of discussion there is focused on snakes and geckos. I've never kept any frogs, or any herps for that matter, before, and I would love to get some feedback about aestivation and diet from people who have kept budgett's frogs, or any other frog variety with a similar life cycle, such as horned (pac man) or pixie frogs.
