Some more details, please? I have moved into a new room for my home office, and the old shades aren't cutting it in full sunlight (and it's only December!)

You use hiking poles to hold it up. No need for dedicated poles. You can play with the angle of the poles to give more floor space.

It's more a tarp than a tent in that regard, and it's just a different approach.

Heh, yeah it's a stock photo. As a side-sleeper I couldn't imagine using that pad.
