I like how it's basically the plot of Stone Soup. Sure, if you add actual food to it oh and also take out the cheap ramen and add real noodles and put in spices and completely replace all the ingredients with other things, ramen's great!

Once you get to near-photorealistic, people will be looking back at today's "creepy human puppets with glowing white eyes and blocky hair". It's really hard for game companies to get eyes, lips, and hair just right for some reason. Not quite uncanny valley, but nowhere near like you're watching a movie either.
