A solution for these people is to go "ick" and scroll past, rather than asking everyone else to not post cute pictures in the cute pictures thread because of their weird irrational fears. They're cute, they're on topic, and the whole goddamn world doesn't have to bend around your insanity.

Are we going to refrain from posting all of those, or are you going to explain why YOUR phobia is so special that it's the one everyone else should tiptoe around while ignoring the rest?

This is Pooli, the ship's cat aboard the attack transport USS Fremont(APA-44):

This is a picture of her in 1959. She was born on July 4, 1944 at Pearl harbor, and was a veteran of Korea and WWII. Her three service ribbons and four battle stars reflect her involvement at Palau, Iwo Jima and other battles, during which she would curl up in a mailbag. Once, some sailors were worried that she would cause the ship to be quarantined, and thought of throwing her overboard- Pooli was given round-the-clock guard for three days, and docked without incident :3:.

Baby squats are the funniest thing because they're not tall enough to warrant bending over, so they always just do that weird little squat thing and don't fully commit to being shorter.

Even funnier to fitness people is that babies tend to have ridiculously good squat form since they don't overthink everything like grownups do.

I nanny a two-year-old. Lately, when I squat down to get to her level, she copies me and squats as well. When we were at a museum last week, she did it and some visitors thought it was cute enough to take a photo. Cutest little girl ever.

I think I've shared my cat before in one of these threads a long time ago, but I'm bored and browsing this topic so why not share another picture of my cat.

I forgot I need to fix this photograph up (one of her cheeks got too bright in post-processing), but I still think it passes for cute/adorable/uplifting. I'm gonna miss my cat so much if I have to leave her here when I go off to school in several months. :(

From the text in the video:

I once asked Roger why with such a powerful voice like his he was singing on the streets, he replied, "I am in the joy business, I come out here to be with the people".
