Nathan Fielder uses his business degree and life experiences to help real small businesses turn a profit. But because of his unorthodox approach, Nathan's genuine efforts to do good often draw real people into an experience far beyond what they signed up for.

So it seems like Comedy Central is trying out a few new shows with unknown people to see if they stick. This is one of the better ones if not the best. The show is a mix of helping out small business's with absurd ideas such as helping out this caricature artist
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUY_i5Tco68
to smaller sketches of him trying to better his or others life such as him catching this Graffiti Vandal
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oxs-Ap68BNA

He also helped a small zoo by making this viral video for them. A pig rescuing a goat.

New episode tonight in which he will attempt to help a clothing store with shoplifting.

This show is hilarious. I also really enjoy The Ben Show that follows it. Nathan's deadpan delivery is amazing. I think that my favorite scene from all of the episodes so far has to be with the summer Santa threatening the security guard in the mall. I hope Comedy Central runs with Nathan For You and The Ben Show for a while because I find both of them infinitely more enjoyable than The Jeselnik Offensive.

I really liked the first episode. I plan on watching 2 and 3 this evening. His delivery is perfect. The "confidence" interviews were fantastic, and I really loved the scene of him eating pizza with the delivery kid after they got bullied.

I love this show. Half the episodes have caused the type of continuous laughing where your head starts to hurt. It's great when he asks a question and gets an acceptable, if puzzling answer and Nathan will follow it up earnestly instead of moving on. I really enjoy how they react logically to problems with their plans, but their mundane solutions make the situations grow more and more absurd. Highly recommended.

Tarbean had two parts: Waterside and Hillside. Waterside is where people are poor. That makes them beggars, thieves and whores. Hillside is where people are rich. That makes them solicitors, polititians and courtesans.

I'm glad someone made a thread for this show because it is hilarious. If you like Adult Swim's live action shows, you'll like this since it has the same feel as something like Newsreaders. I nearly died laughing after seeing his posters defaced, and then the subsequent fake reality show. Would it be wrong to call this abstract or alternative humor?

Also, The Ben Show is equally funny and we should really use this as a combined thread for both.

I almost keeled over when the Santa threatened the mall cop. It was simply brilliant.

And this may seem like a dumb question since I'm pretty gullible with these kinds of shows, but if you had to guess, how much of this show would you say is scripted?

I'm assuming only Nathan has any lines, and his lines are probably closer to outlines.

I was laughing so hard during this show I couldn't stop myself when a sneeze came on and I really hurt my ribs. This is one of those shows that is just funny from start to finish, without ever letting up.

EDIT: My favourite so far is the 8 Minutes Or Free Pizza Delivery is when Nathan goes back and the owner admits people loved the tiny pizzas, and he's still doing it. I hope stuff like that isn't faked. The end of the poo ice cream one where Nathan asked the guy to hang out with him almost made a bit of pee come out.

Passing a kidney stone is more enjoyable than The Jeselnik Offensive. I've only seen a few episodes of Nathan For You, but I thought the episode where he tries to get a haunted house sued by tricking customers into believing they had contracted a serious disease was hilarious.

New episode tonight at 1030! This show has joined Impractical Jokers and The Life & Times of Tim as being able to make me laugh consistently. I guess I'm into uncomfortable and absurd humor.

I really, really love Anthony Jeselnik's standup and overall persona, but his show is not very good. He really needs to be a sometimes guest on other people's show instead.

This is an incredibly funny show. The bit where him and the security guard were having a stand-off in their respective cases absolutely killed me. Also H. Jon Benjamin saying "She died fighting for Iraq under Saddam Hussein" was amazing.

That was seriously great, how many other episodes have there been because I need to catch up.

So it's this, the Ben Show, and The Jeselnik Offensive. Comedy Central is really running with the concept of just letting weird funny people be weird and funny instead of making them play Youtube clips.

He had a movie out and a couple of standup specials but I don't think he was huge like now. I'm really enjoying Nathan For You. I really hope he gets to do more of this or something else after this season ends. That said it's Comedy Central so I'm not holding my breath. They'll probably just make another 6 seasons of Tosh instead.

I don't think I've "tuned" into a show every week in a very long time until The Ben Show and Nathan For You started airing. They both are great shows.

Tonight episode when he let the artist draw himself for the 2nd time had me in tears. I was shocked nobody that came up for the drawing got mad then all the sudden Nathan is pissed because he doesn't like to see his grand father in that light.

He was the sound guy on Jon Benjamin Has A Van, which may or may not get a second season. I don't think this is quite on the same level but it's the next best thing until CC decides to give them money to film the scripts they wrote.

Watch the clips posted I think I've figured out why it's familiar...

It's like a comedic version of Kitchen Nightmares. I approve. And he looks like Jay Baruchel.

He also seems reminds me of Demetri Martin but hopefully less of a dick. Apparently Demetri is a real rear end in a top hat when it comes to fans/in person.

I'm all caught up on Nathan. This better get renewed. Easily one of the funniest shows I've seen in a while. The shoplifting episode (and the security guard in it) were fantastic. Even when I'm not laughing hysterically, the sketches are at least clever and I'm smiling at how witty and endearing he is towards the business owners/managers.

The Ben Show is definitely more hit than miss. I didn't see the first half of this week's but the other episodes are all great overall. The only thing I find a little uncomfortable is when he has people introduce the sketches. The fake auditions are amazing though, and the barbershop porno quartet was brilliant.

That is like the entire premise of the show. I don't really like it as it's a bit repetitive. Only part I really like on it are Todd Bridges animations.

I'm not sold on The Ben Show because it is so hit or miss, I'll agree that the animated crack speed stories are great.

I like to think at the end of the last episode the gas station owner was just loving with Nathan about drinking a little kids pee, which if true would make it beyond brilliant.

He started his TV career on This Hour Has 22 Minutes, which is a Canadian show that parodies politics. He was brought on the show in the later seasons when everybody in politics knew what the show was. They expected a goofy interviewer to ask silly questions, but Nathan is so deadpan nobody knew how to respond to him and he got some hilarious interviews making these big powerful people sweat.

Just did the same. That rebate/retreat was hilarious. I do like how at the end of every episode he essentially gives the person he was helping the finger- with a wink. (he did the rebate, he said poo was a bad idea for a place where you eat, caricature was too mean etc)
