![]() It's win or go home time at the WBC! Tonight, we've got the 2-time defending champions, Japan, vs. the most talented group of American citizens in the tournament. Japan should be favored once again, but they've never before faced an opponent with so much American Spirit. And tomorrow night, it's a rematch of the stunning 2009 upset, Netherlands vs. Dominican Republic. This time around, the Honk Ballers actually seem to have a fairly talented team, but the Dominicans look to be stronger than ever. ![]() MLB Network or ESPN Deportes for American viewers. Unless America-hating ESPN decides to put the Spanish-language games on regular ESPN like they did last Sunday. Mr. Cool Ice fucked around with this message at Mar 18, 2013 around 00:53 |

Crimson Sox posted:there needs to be more brass bands during MLB games One time when I went to an Angels game as a kid, some dude managed to get a trombone into the stadium and to his seat in center field. Every time a ball was hit to the center fielder for the other team, he'd bust that fucker out and let out a few blasts and really startle the poo poo out of the player. I have no idea why, but the ushers let it go on for like over half the game. One of my favorite baseball memories.

i like how all these japanese players are 10-time all-stars and .400 hitters in NPB apparently and none of them can hit. "this guy's the A-Rod of Japan!" *taps out weakly to the pitcher*

Out of all the great names we've seen in this tournament, I think Ricky Bones is still the best. The Pussy Boss posted:i like how all these japanese players are 10-time all-stars and .400 hitters in NPB apparently and none of them can hit.
