http://www.somethingawful.com/d/new...unted-house.php Great article full of useful tips. I really get the feeling that CTS has a lot of solid experience with these things, and that's reassuring to me, the first time haunted house buyer. I found this part particularly insightful "Host an impromptu seance or Ouija Board session. Ask if there are any ghosts. Ignore messages from ghosts that threaten you or ask for help, as these are just ways that ghosts deflect the question and hide the fact that there are no ghosts at all." And maybe I'm crazy, but I think I actually saw this happen on a haunted house documentary "Check all the mirrors. In at least one of them, you should see something unsettling right behind you. When you turn around, nothing should be there. When you turn back to the mirror, it should just be a wall, with no mirror at all. Something should tap you on the shoulder now. When you turn around, there should be a mirror on that wall (the one that was originally behind you) and in its reflection you should see the first mirror. When you turn around, there should still not be a mirror on the wall, but a note. On this note, a simple message: "Mirror."" Anyway, having read the guide thoroughly, I believe I am now sufficiently prepared to enter the haunted house hunting arena. Thanks for everything CTS!
