Partly inspired by the bachelor threads, partly inspired by tumbler, this is a thread where you post the most vile food that people seem to actually eat and enjoy. The last part is the most important part. Don't post a picture of, say, a decomposed raccoon being eaten by a schizophrenic homeless man. This is for people who think that this poo poo is delicious: Chocolate chip grilled cheese No this is not a photoshop, that's a real product you can buy Cheetos chicken You can include recipes/list of ingredients but only with a picture of the final product Slow-cooker Reuben dip quote:Ingredients Twee as Fuck has a new favorite as of 17:14 on Mar 19, 2013 |

quote:The age of the egg before it can be cooked is a matter of local preference. In the Philippines, the ideal balut is 17 days old, at which point it is said to be balut sa puti ("wrapped in white"). The chick inside is not old enough to show its beak, feathers or claws, and the bones are undeveloped. The Vietnamese often prefer their balut mature from 19 days up to 21 days, when the chick is old enough to be recognizable as a baby duck and has bones that will be firm but tender when cooked.

A fine cheese, a cup of wine and a baguette and you've got a loving gourmet meal. There's oodles of stuff that is rank to look at that might actually be tasty and sometimes you get stuff like hollowed out seal with rotting birds. But stuff like patatje Oorlog or Bamiballen, Nasischijven, loempia's, fritten met stoof, kapsalon, kipcorns and the rest of the content of an avereage dutch fastfood joint isn't really anti-foodporn: it's late night grub after having a few pints. It's supposed to be pictures of food that are either extremely gross-looking (even if they might taste good), or pictures of food that might look pretty but become absolutely mindblowing disgusting when you discover what they are (menstrual cookies).

For gently caress's sake Halva doesn't belong in this thread. Mayo discussion doesn't belong in this thread. This is the anti-food porn thread, where we discuss: Food that looks absolutely disgusting (regardless of the taste) Food that looks delicious (until you realize what it actually is) So before you post, ask yourself 'Does this fit either of those criterias?' Stop making GBS threads up this thread with unfucking related food discussion jesus christ. Example: Here is Hasma, a delicacy dessert from China Fallopian frog tubes topped with sugar Who the gently caress decides that not only they want to taste that, but they'll cook it and eat it regularly? edit: or the post right above me.

A nice thai recipe. Ingredients Live bat (1) Milk (2 liter) Herbs and spices (at your discretion) 1. Set the milk on the fire until it reaches a firm boil. 2. Take the live bat, and force it into the boiling milk. 3. Cover the pot to prevent it from flying away. 4. Wait until the bat is tender enough, then slice it and compress it until it becomes a paste 5. Add the herbs and spices 6. Let marinate 7. Serve 'bat paste' soup 8.

Thailand has another dish called the 'Ying Yang fish' where you cook it and eat it while its still alive. Seriously, if you google it, you can see a video where they are eating a fried part of the body while the head is still twitching and gasping Japan has a variation of this called the Ikizukuri as well. You go to a restaurant, they will plop the fish out of the water, slice it in front of you and you'll eat it while it's still live and its entrails getting all over your plate. Not posting pictures or videos because what the gently caress.
