Not sure the OPs reasoning, but they are a religious nutty school, so if you dislike religious nutcases, you may extend that dislike towards Liberty.

This. All the kids presumably knew the rules of the school before they chose it, so I assume all or most of the players are fundamentalist assholes too. The student honor code makes BYU look like Animal House.

my dad tried to get my brother to consider Liberty. I told them you might as well just go to every vacation bible school you can find for four years and throw thousands of dollars in the offering trays instead. Surprisingly, that didn't go over real well.

Kid who lived in my hometown and was home schooled played basketball for Liberty. He had scholarship offers from a handful of D-I programs and chose Liberty because of his religious beliefs. So yeah they all know why they are going to school there.

As I said in another thread, any University so far to the right that it makes Baylor (whic, much as I genuinely like my school, has Ken Starr as a president) look like a beacon of Progressive, open-minded, and scientific Christianity is far enough to the right to deserve all the scorn it gets. Honestly, the fact that they're apparently accredited and play division 1 sports boggles my mind.

Also, if Kentucky loses in the first round of the NIT I will laugh. If Baylor does it I will cry.
